Claybell Park, 425 Broadmoor Street, Richland, WA 99352, has free dedicated outdoor pickleball courts with permanent nets. The park is open from sunup to sundown, weekends draw the largest crowds, and a rotation system keeps games moving when courts fill. Portable restrooms and drinking water are available.
CBRC Health and Fitness
CBRC Health and Fitness, 1776 Terminal Drive, Richland, WA 99354, runs all-level open play Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Beginner and intermediate players have a dedicated Wednesday block from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

CBRC's Wednesday 1 to 2:30 p.m. beginner/intermediate open play gives newer players an appropriate rotation. The Pacific Clinic offers private and small-group instruction led by pro Damon Little; one-hour group lessons start at $23 per person for groups of five or more. Open Play, Leagues, and Events
Club 509 organizes Tri-Cities leagues and tournaments. The 2026 509 Summer Classic ran June 19-21 at CBRC on 22 tournament courts, with singles, gender doubles, mixed doubles, all skill levels, and a $25,000 prize pool. The Pacific Clinic's six-week leagues use five weeks of round robins followed by a double-elimination tournament and serve divisions from 3.0 through 4.5.
Visitor Planning
Claybell Park is the best free choice in good weather, especially on weekends when its rotation is active. CBRC is the better arrival-alone option because its published open-play blocks provide partners and skill matching. Tournament travelers can fly into Tri-Cities Airport in Pasco; CBRC is roughly a 15-minute drive from the terminal.
